Am I eligible to sit the MEDSURG-BC exam?
ANCC decides that, and its requirements change. In general you need an active RN license plus practice hours and continuing education in the specialty — the current ANCC certification handbook is the authority, and worth reading before you buy anything.
How is this different from your NP board prep?
Different exams and different candidates. Our board-prep question banks target nurse-practitioner certification (PMHNP, FNP) and the NCLEX-RN; these review courses target ANCC’s RN specialty certifications.
