Course Description: American Heart Association - ACLS Instructor Course
The American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Instructor Course is designed to prepare healthcare professionals to become certified instructors in ACLS. This course is intended for individuals who are passionate about teaching life-saving skills to healthcare providers, including nurses, physicians, and other healthcare workers.
The ACLS Instructor Course includes training on how to teach advanced cardiovascular life support techniques, including recognition and early management of cardiac arrest, airway management, pharmacology, and post-cardiac arrest care. Participants will also learn how to use the AHA ACLS Instructor Manual and accompanying materials to plan, prepare, and conduct ACLS courses.
In this course, you will learn to:
- Teach ACLS to healthcare providers
- Use the AHA ACLS Instructor Manual and accompanying materials
- Demonstrate proper ACLS techniques, including airway management, rhythm interpretation, and pharmacology
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
- Manage ACLS courses and maintain accurate records
Upon successful completion of the ACLS Instructor Course, participants will receive an American Heart Association ACLS Instructor card, which is valid for two years. As a certified ACLS instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach life-saving skills to healthcare providers in your community and help improve patient outcomes.
