The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Certification Course is designed for healthcare providers and medical professionals who need to learn or refresh the essential skills required to respond to cardiac arrest and other life-threatening emergencies. This initial certification course covers current AHA guidelines for delivering high-quality CPR to adults, children, and infants, along with other core basic life support techniques.

Throughout the course, participants will learn how to perform effective CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), respond to choking emergencies, and provide coordinated, team-based resuscitation care in clinical and emergency settings.

In this course, you will:

  • Learn the latest AHA guidelines for high-quality adult, child, and infant CPR
  • Learn how to properly use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
  • Recognize and respond to choking emergencies
  • Practice team-based basic life support techniques for healthcare environments

Certification: American Heart Association BLS Provider Card, valid for two years.

Note: Healthcare providers who need to maintain an active BLS certification are encouraged to complete the BLS Recertification Course before their current BLS Provider Card expires. This helps ensure uninterrupted certification status.
