Service Agreement for The American Heart Association - PALS Certification (Initial)

By enrolling in The American Heart Association - PALS Certification (Initial) course, you agree to the following terms and conditions:Certification: Upon successful completion of The American Heart Association - PALS Certification (Initial) course, participants will receive an American Heart Association PALS Provider card, valid for two years.

Refunds and Cancellations: Refunds will not be provided for The American Heart Association - PALS Certification (Initial) course once the course has begun. Participants may cancel their enrollment in the course prior to the course start date and may be eligible for a refund, less an administrative fee.

Technical Support: Technical support is available for participants who experience issues accessing or navigating the online portion of the course.

Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner throughout the course. Any inappropriate or disruptive behavior may result in immediate dismissal from the course.

Intellectual Property: All course materials provided to participants, including the AHA PALS Provider Manual and other instructional materials, are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior written consent from the American Heart Association.

Course Description: American Heart Association - PALS Certification Course (Initial)

The American Heart Association - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification Course (Initial) is designed for healthcare providers who wish to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to provide advanced life support to critically ill or injured pediatric patients. This course is intended for nurses, physicians, EMS professionals, and other healthcare workers who may be required to respond to pediatric emergencies.

The PALS Certification Course (Initial) provides a comprehensive overview of pediatric advanced life support techniques, including high-performance team dynamics, systems of care, basic life support, airway management, pharmacology, and electrical therapy. Participants will also learn how to assess and manage pediatric patients with respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological emergencies.

In this course, you will learn to:

Recognize and respond to pediatric cardiopulmonary emergencies Perform advanced pediatric life support techniques Manage pediatric cardiac arrest and other pediatric emergencies Work effectively in high-performance teams Use advanced airway management techniques Administer appropriate pediatric pharmacological interventions Use pediatric electrical therapy and cardiac monitoring

Upon successful completion of the PALS Certification Course (Initial), participants will receive an American Heart Association PALS Provider card, which is valid for two years. This certification demonstrates that you have the knowledge and skills required to provide advanced life support to critically ill or injured pediatric patients.
