Course Description: American Heart Association - ACLS Recertification Course
The American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Recertification Course is designed for healthcare providers who have previously been certified in ACLS and wish to renew their certification. This course provides an update on the latest advanced cardiovascular life support techniques, including high-performance team dynamics, systems of care, basic life support, airway management, pharmacology, and electrical therapy. Participants will also learn how to assess and manage patients with stroke, acute coronary syndromes, and other cardiovascular emergencies.
In this course, you will:
- Review the latest advanced cardiovascular life support techniques
- Learn about high-performance team dynamics and systems of care
- Refresh your knowledge of basic life support and airway management
- Learn about pharmacology and electrical therapy in cardiac arrest management
- Review how to assess and manage patients with stroke, acute coronary syndromes, and other cardiovascular emergencies
Upon successful completion of the ACLS Recertification Course, participants will receive an American Heart Association ACLS Provider card, which is valid for two years. This certification demonstrates that you have updated your knowledge and skills required to provide advanced cardiovascular life support in emergency situations.

Note: It is recommended that participants take the ACLS Recertification Course prior to the expiration of their current ACLS Provider card to maintain their certification status.
